Beej Mantras

• Find a quiet, clean space where you won’t be disturbed.

• Sit in a comfortable, upright posture (cross-legged or on a chair with feet flat on the ground).

• Have a clock, stopwatch or phone timer handy to time each mantra 

Chakra Mantras

• OM - LAM (लं) – Root Chakra, squeeze abdomen muscles in the reproductive area, the root chakra is inside in the middle

• OM - VAM (वं) – Sacral Chakra, tighten/flex lower abs, belt area 

• OM - RAM (रं) – Solar Plexus Chakra, squeeze/flex diaphragm 

• OM- YAM (यं) – Heart Chakra, crouch inward, squeezing the sternum

• OM - HAM (हं) – Throat Chakra, chin to chest 

• OM (ॐ) – Third Eye & Crown Chakra, focus on the area between your brows

Sounding the Mantra

• Take a deep breath in, squeeze abdomen and begin sounding the first chakra, the root

• Focus the vibration to where the chakra is, sounding into it, feel the resonance

• Go slow, OM LAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, repeat when breath runs out 

• Continue sounding for 30 seconds at least with each mantra. 1 minute is a good place to start 

•  Restart your timer and move on to the next chakra, sacral 

• Sound each chakra until you reach the third eye, your crown is now open 

• Observe the vibrations and energy shifts in your body.

Additional Tips:

• Morning time is best

• Posture: Keep the spine straight to allow free flow of energy.

• Frequency: Regular practice enhances effectiveness.
